A little piece of Papahana history, made just for our keiki.

Established in 2006, Papahana Kuaola took stewardship of 63 acres at Waipao in Heʻeia, beginning the restoration of ʻāina that had long been used as an illegal dumpsite.

Rumor has it an abandoned engine block still rests somewhere on the property—a remnant of the past and a powerful reminder of how far this ʻāina has come.

The Engine Block Design celebrates 20 years of resilience, mālama ʻāina, and aloha ʻāina, while honoring the next generation who will continue to care for Waipao.
